Santikos Entertainment presented a check today for $10 million to the San Antonio Area Foundation.

San Antonio, Texas – Santikos Entertainment presented a check today for $10 million to the San Antonio Area Foundation. The funds are the second installment this year, with total funding for 2017 expected to be $26 million.

“The funds presented today were made possible by the people of San Antonio, who recognize that each visit to a Santikos theater creates a direct benefit to our community, with all proceeds to benefit the San Antonio Area Foundation.” said Holmes. “That was the visionary mission of John L. Santikos.”

The John L. Santikos Charitable Foundation was established in December 2014, and since that time, over 200 San Antonio area organizations have benefitted.
