SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS (AUGUST 11, 2011) – Santikos Theatres is expanding its
reach across Texas, as the entertainment company makes plans to open its
second multiplex cinema facility in the Greater Houston Area. The company has acquired a 20 acre site within the master-planned community of Long
Meadow Farms, located along Highway 99, The Grand Parkway, at the
intersection of West Bellfort.
The new entertainment complex, to be named Palladium, will bring Santikos
Theatres’ unique brand of “experiential theatre” to the West Houston
community. The new Palladium will not only offer 22 movie screens equipped
with the latest digital projection and sound, but will also include
amenities not currently available in the Houston Area, with details to be
announced soon.

forward to being a part of the Long Meadow Farms community,” said John
Santikos, owner of Santikos Theatres. “We are excited to bring to West
Houston moviegoers the latest and greatest in cinema technology to this
growing area which is currently underserved.”
The entertainment complex will be part of a new, 90 acre mixed used
development within Long Meadow Farms that will include retail, office and
high density residential.
TK Architects of Kansas City are leading the design team and VCC Contractors
are the General Contractors. Construction begins August, 2011.
